I've been eating the Trim Healthy Mama (THM) way since August 2013. I love eating this way. Not only have I lost close to 30 pounds, but I've gained energy and renewed health. I've always been someone who loves to cook and try new recipes. I've found many, many recipes in the book to be delicious, but have found a whole host of recipes online that are great too. I decided it was time to compile my favorites in one spot. "E" meals for me don't come as naturally in my meal plans as "S" meals do, mostly because I love the heavier more satisfying foods of the "S" meal. So know that I'm posting this resource for myself, as much as for you. It is my hope that on those days when you can't expend any energy on figuring out what to eat, that you can turn to this list and find some ideas. Be sure to check out my top 30 "S" recipes as well.

Pin it for later.

  6. I thought pasta was a no-no. I see in the Minestroni soup that it calls for pasta shells. Is that right?

    1. I leave it in for my family and use whole wheat. I typically pick it out. Dreamfields pasta is ok.

  7. Why would the Asian lettuce wraps be an E?

  8. I used Swerve instead of Huisane sauce, but thinking it was an S meal and feeling like I needed a sauce to go with it, I made a black Asian sauce with coconut oil, Swerve, soy sauce, basil, nutritional yeast flakes, water, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

  9. Did I totally mess up by using the sce since the meal was an E and the sauce has coconut oil?

    1. It depends on how much coconut oil you used. 1t. Is allowed in an e setting. Anything more and it's a crossover.

    1. It all depends on what you put in them. I like lots of carrots, water chestnuts and onions in mine. If you do only a bit it could be a fp.

  11. Can you explain how you handle the sour cream and cheese in the Southwestern Black Bean Casserole? Wouldn't those put this into a crossover?

    1. The sour cream is an additional topping so if you want something like that use 0% plain Greek yogurt. As for the cheese when you divide it out on the number of servings you are still in the acceptable fat range.

  14. Thanks so much for doing these lists with recipes! My goal is to plan my menu this month mainly around your meals. I have a pretty good idea with the S, E, FP but as a newbie...menu planning is becoming very time consuming. LOL As a schooling at home mom...I don't have time! (Though it's fun! I've varied our meals in so many ways already!)
