Meal Plan Monday: 11/30-12/6/15

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. My family and I had a very fun and full weekend. I also indulged in a bunch of food that I shouldn't have, but I'm back at the plan today. I find the best way to help myself detox and start feeling more back to normal the quickest is by eating two days of all S meals. Now this may be different for you, but for me, it helps rid my body of all the terrible carbs I ingested the quickest.

**All breakfasts, lunches and snacks are portioned for one, unless otherwise noted. All dinners are portioned for six.**

Here's what we'll be eating this week:

Monday:
B - Peanut Butter Milkshake (S) ***If you don't have protein powder, cook an egg and eat that on the side to replace the loss of protein.
L - Just Like Campbell's Tomato Soup with fresh veggies on the side and Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 112 in the NEW THM Cookbook
S - (2) Light Rye Wasa Crackers with a wedge of Light Laughing Cow cheese on top with water to drink (FP)
D - White Chicken Lasagna Soup with water to drink (S)

Tuesday:
B - (2) Mufflets with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S) pg. 237 in the NEW THM cookbook ***This recipe makes enough to feed my family of 6 two full breakfasts.
L - leftover White Chicken Lasagna Soup with water to drink (S)
S - celery and peanut butter with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - Taco Salad with sour cream, cheddar cheese and green onions with water to drink (S) ***Use this taco seasoning for your meat. I add black beans for my kids but this is NOT reflected on the shopping list.

Wednesday:
B - (2) leftover Mufflets with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S)
L - leftover Taco Salad with water to drink (S)
S - Cottage Berry Whip with Cider Pop to drink (FP) ***I'm making a double batch and will eat the rest tomorrow. Keep it in the freezer overnight and take it out about 10 minutes before you want to eat it.
D - Cowboy Grub with water to drink (E) pg. 59 in the NEW THM Cookbook

Thursday:
B - 1/2 c. of 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with 1 T. THM Gentle Sweet (or sweetener of your choice) and 2 T. peanut butter with water to drink (S)
L - leftover Cowboy Grub with water to drink (E)
S - leftover Cottage Berry Whip with Cider Pop to drink (FP)
D - Egg Roll in a Bowl with water to drink (S) ***I serve this over brown rice for my kids, but that is NOT reflected on the shopping list.

Friday:
B - Thin Mint Shake (S)
L - leftover Egg Roll in a Bowl with fresh veggies and water to drink (S)
S - (2) Light Rye Wasa Crackers with a wedge of Light Laughing Cow Cheese and Cider Pop to drink (FP)
D - Pizza Casserole with fresh veggies on the side and Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 327 in the OLD THM book

Saturday:
B - Cheddar, Bacon and Veggie Frittata with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S) ***This will feed my family of 6.
L - out
S - celery and peanut butter with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - Black Bean Dump Soup with water to drink (E) ***This will feed my family of 6.


Sunday:
B - 1/2 c. of 0% Plain Greek Yogurt sweetened to taste with an apple and cinnamon mixed in with water to drink (E)
L - Trim Zuppa Toscana with water to drink (S) pg. 86 in the NEW THM cookbook ***I'm cutting the recipe in half and this will feed my family of 6.
S - 1/2 avocado with 1/4 c. of cottage cheese and fresh veggies with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - leftovers

Here's what we'll be eating this week:

Monday:
B - Peanut Butter Milkshake (S)
L - Hearty Two Bean and Lentil Chili with water to drink (E) ***This will feed my family of 6 with leftovers for me for tomorrow.
S - 1/2 green apple with 2 T. peanut butter with Cider Pop to drink (S Helper)
D - Spaghetti with meat sauce over Dreamfield's pasta with a small side salad with Ranch dressing and water to drink (S)

Tuesday:
B -  (2) eggs scrambled with (2) pieces of bacon on the side and Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S)
L - leftover Hearty Two Bean and Lentil Chili with water to drink (E)
S - (2) Peanut Butter Cups with Cider Pop to drink (S) ***This is enough to feed me and my four kids for a snack for two days.
D - Marinated steak with green beans topped with butter and a salad with Ranch dressing with water to drink (S)

Wednesday:
B - Caramel Apple Smoothie (E)
L - Just Like Campbell's Tomato Soup with fresh veggies on the side with Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 112 in the NEW THM Cookbook or pg. 292 in the OLD THM book
S - (2) leftover peanut butter cups with water to drink (S)
D - No Tortilla Enchilada Bake served with lettuce and sour cream with water to drink (S) ***Use this enchilada sauce in place of the one in the actual recipe. You will need to quadruple the recipe for the enchilada sauce to have enough.

Thursday:
B - Berry Lemon Shake (S)
L - Thanksgiving meal ~ I'm responsible for bringing rolls (which at the request of my husband are off-plan), Loaded Spaghetti Squash Casserole and some green beans. I will be doing my best to eat mostly S, with maybe a bit of a crossover.
S - Pumpkin bars with water to drink (S) ***I'm using THM Baking Blend in place of Briana's Baking blend because I already have it on hand.
D - leftover Thanksgiving meal with Cider Pop to drink (S)

Friday:
B - (2) scrambled eggs with some leftover turkey thrown in with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S)
L - leftover Thanksgiving meal with Cider Pop to drink (S)
S - leftover Pumpkin bars with water to drink (S)
D - Pizza Casserole with fresh veggies on the side and Cherry Bai5 Bubbles to drink (S)

Saturday:
B - 1/2 c. 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with sweetener of your choice, an apple and sprinkled with cinnamon with water to drink (E)
L - salad with leftover turkey on top with Ranch dressing and Cider Pop to drink (S)
S - leftover Pumpkin bars with water to drink (S)
D - Zesty Chicken and Black Bean Casserole with lettuce on the side and water to drink (E) ***I'm using white meat turkey in place of the chicken.

Sunday:
B - Key Lime Shake (FP) ***Omit the instant pudding, green food coloring and graham crackers
L - Chicken Avocado Soup with water to drink (S) ***I'm going to use leftover turkey in place of the chicken
S - leftover Pumpkin bars with water to drink (S)
D - out to eat for our 12th wedding anniversary

S - Cottage Berry Whip with water to drink (FP) ***I'm making a double batch and will freeze the other half for snack tomorrow.
D - Taco Salad topped with enchilada sauce, cheddar cheese and sour cream with Cider Pop to drink (S)

Tuesday:
B - 1/2 c. 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with 2 T. peanut butter and 2 t. of THM Gentle Sweet with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S)
L - leftover Taco Salad with Cider Pop to drink (S)
S - leftover Cottage Berry Whip with water to drink (FP)
D - Fakertot Casserole and a side salad dressed with Ranch dressing and water to drink (S) ***Use xanthan gum to keep it as no special ingredients.

Wednesday:
B - 1/2 c. 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with a chopped apple, THM Gentle Sweet and cinnamon to taste with water to drink (E)
L - Black Bean Dump Soup with Cider Pop to drink (E) ***This will feed my family of 6.
S - celery with peanut butter with water to drink (S)
D - Spaghetti with meat sauce served over Zoodles (zucchini noodles) with a side salad dressed with Ranch and water to drink (S) ***My kids will eat their spaghetti over regular noodles, but this is NOT reflected on the shopping list. You can make zoodles with this gadget.

Thursday:
B - 1/2 c. 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with 2 T. peanut butter and 2 t. THM Gentle Sweet and water to drink (S)
L - leftover spaghetti with zoodles and Cider Pop to drink (S)
S - 1 oz. cheddar cheese with strawberries and water to drink (S)
D - Quinoa Goes Cajun with water to drink (E) pg. 69 in the NEW THM cookbook

Friday:
B - I have a potluck breakfast with my Bible Study
L - leftover Quinoa Goes Cajun with water to drink (E)
S - celery with peanut butter with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - Pizza Casserole with fresh veggies on the side with Grapefruit Bai5 Bubbles to drink (S)

Saturday:
B - Cheddar, Bacon and Veggie Frittata with water to drink (S) ***This will feed my family of 6.
L - out to eat
S - Peanut Butter Whip with water to drink (S)
D - Lovin' Tex Mex Skillet with lettuce on the side and topped with a dollop of 0% Plain Greek Yogurt with Cider Pop to drink (E)

Sunday:
B - 1/2 c. 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with a chopped apple, cinnamon and THM Gentle Sweet to taste with water to drink (E)
L - Italian White Bean & Spinach Soup with water to drink (E)
S - 1/2 c. 1% cottage cheese with strawberries on the side with Cider Pop to drink (FP)
D - leftovers or a salad with hard-boiled egg, cheddar cheese and Ranch with water to drink (S)
