Meal Plan Monday: 11/30-12/6/15

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. My family and I had a very fun and full weekend. I also indulged in a bunch of food that I shouldn't have, but I'm back at the plan today. I find the best way to help myself detox and start feeling more back to normal the quickest is by eating two days of all S meals. Now this may be different for you, but for me, it helps rid my body of all the terrible carbs I ingested the quickest.

**All breakfasts, lunches and snacks are portioned for one, unless otherwise noted. All dinners are portioned for six.**

Here's what we'll be eating this week:

Monday:
B - Peanut Butter Milkshake (S) ***If you don't have protein powder, cook an egg and eat that on the side to replace the loss of protein.
L - Just Like Campbell's Tomato Soup with fresh veggies on the side and Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 112 in the NEW THM Cookbook
S - (2) Light Rye Wasa Crackers with a wedge of Light Laughing Cow cheese on top with water to drink (FP)
D - White Chicken Lasagna Soup with water to drink (S)

Tuesday:
B - (2) Mufflets with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S) pg. 237 in the NEW THM cookbook ***This recipe makes enough to feed my family of 6 two full breakfasts.
L - leftover White Chicken Lasagna Soup with water to drink (S)
S - celery and peanut butter with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - Taco Salad with sour cream, cheddar cheese and green onions with water to drink (S) ***Use this taco seasoning for your meat. I add black beans for my kids but this is NOT reflected on the shopping list.

Wednesday:
B - (2) leftover Mufflets with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S)
L - leftover Taco Salad with water to drink (S)
S - Cottage Berry Whip with Cider Pop to drink (FP) ***I'm making a double batch and will eat the rest tomorrow. Keep it in the freezer overnight and take it out about 10 minutes before you want to eat it.
D - Cowboy Grub with water to drink (E) pg. 59 in the NEW THM Cookbook

Thursday:
B - 1/2 c. of 0% Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with 1 T. THM Gentle Sweet (or sweetener of your choice) and 2 T. peanut butter with water to drink (S)
L - leftover Cowboy Grub with water to drink (E)
S - leftover Cottage Berry Whip with Cider Pop to drink (FP)
D - Egg Roll in a Bowl with water to drink (S) ***I serve this over brown rice for my kids, but that is NOT reflected on the shopping list.

Friday:
B - Thin Mint Shake (S)
L - leftover Egg Roll in a Bowl with fresh veggies and water to drink (S)
S - (2) Light Rye Wasa Crackers with a wedge of Light Laughing Cow Cheese and Cider Pop to drink (FP)
D - Pizza Casserole with fresh veggies on the side and Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 327 in the OLD THM book

Saturday:
B - Cheddar, Bacon and Veggie Frittata with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S) ***This will feed my family of 6.
L - out
S - celery and peanut butter with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - Black Bean Dump Soup with water to drink (E) ***This will feed my family of 6.


Sunday:
B - 1/2 c. of 0% Plain Greek Yogurt sweetened to taste with an apple and cinnamon mixed in with water to drink (E)
L - Trim Zuppa Toscana with water to drink (S) pg. 86 in the NEW THM cookbook ***I'm cutting the recipe in half and this will feed my family of 6.
S - 1/2 avocado with 1/4 c. of cottage cheese and fresh veggies with Cider Pop to drink (S)
D - leftovers

  3. I was looking at the shopping list. How much bacon is needed? I swear it says 128 oz which is like 8lbs.

    Other than that thank you so much for these weekly plans. It gives me some great ideas. I do eat larger portions than you do but still great to see your plans.
