Meal Plan Monday: 10/26-11/1/15

I'm trying to make a couple of new recipes each week from the NEW Trim Healthy Mama cookbook. Last week my favorite thing that I tried was the Winter Wonderland Sip. IT IS AMAZING!! It tastes like everything that is right about Christmas, but I can drink it year round. It's on pg. 405. Try it if you haven't yet!!

***All breakfast, lunches and snacks are portioned for one unless otherwise stated. All dinners are portioned for six.***

Here's what we'll be eating this week:

Monday:
B - Vanilla 000 Dannon Greek Yogurt with an apple and Winter Wonderland Sip to drink (E) Winter Wonderland is on pg. 405 of the NEW THM cookbook
L - Just Like Campbell's Tomato Soup with fresh veggies on the side and Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 112 in the NEW THM cookbook or pg. 292 in the OLD THM book
S - Thin Mint Shake (S)
D - Barbacoa Beef in the crock pot served over lettuce with tomatoes, cheddar cheese and sour cream with water to drink (S)

Tuesday:
B - (2) Mufflets with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S) pg. 237 in the NEW THM cookbook. ***This recipes makes enough to serve my family of six for two breakfasts.
L - leftover Barbacoa Beef over lettuce with tomatoes, cheddar cheese and sour cream with Cider Pop to drink (S)
S - celery with peanut butter and Winter Wonderland Sip (S) pg. 405
D - Baked Spaghetti "Zoodle" Casserole with side salad dressed with oil and red wine vinegar and water to drink (S)

Wednesday:
B - (2) leftover Mufflets with Sweet & Spicy tea to drink (S)
L - leftover Baked Spaghetti "Zoodle" Casserole with strawberries on the side and water to drink (S)
S - (3) Pay Off Day Candies with Cider Pop to drink (S) pg. 381 in the NEW THM cookbook. Use THM Gentle Sweet for best results. I made it with another sweetener and it tasted fine but had a bitter after taste, not so with the Gentle Sweet though.
D - Hearty Two Bean and Lentil Chili with water to drink (E)

Thursday:
B - Vanilla 000 Dannon Greek Yogurt with an apple and Winter Wonderland Sip to drink (E)
L - leftover Hearty Two Bean and Lentil Chili with Cider Pop to drink (E)
S - (3) leftover Pay Off Day Candies with water to drink (S)
D - Philly Cheesesteak Casserole with side salad dressed with red wine vinegar and oil with water to drink (S) ***I'm omitting the mushrooms because we don't care for them, so if you'd like them make sure you add it to the shopping list.

Friday:
B - Peanut Butter Cup Shake (S)
L - Black Bean Quesadillas with strawberries and fresh veggies on the side with Cider Pop to drink (E) ***This will feed my family of 6.
S - (3) leftover Pay Off Day Candies with water to drink (S)
D - Pizza Casserole with fresh veggies on the side and Black Cherry Zevia to drink (S) pg. 327 in the OLD THM book. ***At the time of this posting there is a 20% off coupon on Zevia right now on Amazon, so if you've been wanting to try it, now may be your time.

Saturday:
B - Ice Cold Fruit Smoothie (E) ***I'm omitting the cantaloupe because I couldn't find any that looked good at the store.
L - Out to eat
S - Snickers Hot Chocolate (S)
D - Chicken Noodle Soup with Cider Pop to drink (E) ***I'm using brown rice in place of the noodles.

Sunday:
B - (2) scrambled eggs with strawberries on the side and Winter Wonderland Sip to drink (S)
L - leftover Chicken Noodle Soup with water to drink (E)
S - Cottage Berry Whip (FP)
D - Loaded Spaghetti Squash Casserole and a side salad dressed with red wine vinegar and oil with Cider Pop to drink (S) ***I'm adding 1 1/2 lbs. of diced chicken breasts to the casserole to make it a complete meal.

  1. I almost cried when I stumbled across your blog!! I'm brand new to THM and, honestly, just a little overwhelmed. :) I have that feeling when you're learning to ride a bike and still need training wheels. Your posts have just the creativity and structure I need to get off to a good start. I can't begin to thank you enough!!
